Your Life Story at TRE

Wednesday, 4:30–5:30 p.m.
Outside the main entrance of the Convention Center at The Running Event

Join us for one hour to connect, listen, learn, and maybe even share a piece of yourself. This is, in simplest terms, a storytelling gathering: participants are invited to tell their life story in 60 seconds or less while standing on a small stage.

But you could just as easily call it a listening event—an hour carved out in a world where distraction and technology chip away at our attention a thousand times a day.

This isn’t sponsored by a running brand. It’s not a networking event. It’s a small, human display of presence, curiosity, and courage. Come with an open mind. Feel free to simply watch, or put your name in the hat to step up and share your story.

This will be a phone-free hour. We’re asking both audience and storytellers to turn their phones off so that the space stays pure, simple, and powerful—giving the whole thing that old-school “you had to be there” feeling.
